Lucy Nolan RVN

Head Nurse

Our lead nurse Lucy qualified with a BSc in Veterinary Nursing from Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2016 & joined the team at Blackrock shortly after.

She grew up in South Dublin surrounded by a multitude of pets which instilled her passion for working with animals.

Lucy has a keen interest in Microbiology and hopes to complete a MSc is Veterinary Microbiology in the near future.

Lucy is a joy to work with and brings a lot of energy to all the staff, she is a fantastic support to her colleagues and is passionate about developing the nurses that work in her team.

During her spare time she enjoys reading, running and hiking  in the mountains with her Chihuahua Bowie who you will also recognise as our canine receptionist and chief treat tester.
