Clinical Director/ Veterinary Surgeon

Katie qualified from UCD in 2013 with a First Class Honours Degree in Veterinary Medicine. After graduation she moved to England where she worked in a busy small animal hospital in Norfolk for two years before taking some time out to travel around Asia. She then moved to London for a year where she worked across several different clinics as a locum vet, gaining valuable experience.

She joined us here at Blackrock Vet Clinic in January 2017. Katie grew up in Blackrock and in her spare time enjoys travel, going to the gym and spending time with her Tibetan Terrier, Romy. Katie is currently studying towards a postgraduate certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice through the University of Liverpool, specialising in small animal surgery.
