Eamonn qualified from UCD in 1991. Having spent 4-5 years in a “James Herriot” type role in Omagh, Co. Tyrone (very much all creatures great and small – from cows and sheep to cats and tigers!), Eamonn realised that small animal practice was where his future lay and following a stint in a very busy small animal hospital in London gaining invaluable experience , he returned to Dublin and has been practicing in Blackrock since 1997.

A true lover of pets and people, Eamonn is usually found “buzzing” around the surgery. He is very proud of the team here at Blackrock Veterinary Clinic, where the firm ethos of providing the very best for the clients and their beloved pets is a priority for everyone.

When not working, Eamon is passionate about horse riding, and also hill walking & trail running. He also keeps busy looking after the “menagerie” at home : his young and energetic Springer Spaniel Ralph, his blind but mischievous cat Iris, his 4 horses, and a small flock of rescued ex-battery farmed hens!
