Cíara O’Hare BVSc

Veterinary Surgeon

Cíara qualified from UCD in 2018 with an Honours degree in Veterinary Medicine. Hailing from County Meath (Up the Royals), following graduation, Cíara took a year travelling, working in New Zealand and Thailand while seeing the sights. Settling back in Ireland, she has worked in companion animal practice for several years, and she joined Blackrock Vets in 2025. Cíara has a particular interest in Ultrasonography, and received her postgraduate certificate in Diagnostic Imaging in 2023.

Cíara lives in Wicklow with her Chocolate Labrador, Big Mac, and three cats, Hamilton, Nugget, and Maggie. Outside of veterinary, she spends her time being as active as is humanly possible and enjoys running, Pilates, horse riding, hiking, and moshing at heavy rock gigs.
