Brona Culhane MVB

Brona Culhane MVB

Veterinary Surgeon

Brona grew up in Templeogue in Dublin and graduated with Honours from U.C.D in 2006. She then completed a one year internship in Small Animal Medicine in the University Veterinary Hospital in Belfield, where she gained invaluable experience in both first opinion and specialist referral cases.

For the next eight years she worked in a very busy companion animal practice in Dublin. She has also done volunteer work for the Irish Blue Cross and the D.S.P.C.A. In 2014 she took a year out to travel the world with her husband: some of the highlights of their trip include living for two months in the Himalayas in northern India and spending six weeks living in a “hiace” campervan whilst exploring New Zealand!

Upon her return from travelling she settled back into life working as a small animal vet. She joined Blackrock Veterinary Clinic in June 2017. Brona is also a qualified Ashtanga Yoga teacher and in her spare time loves hiking with her faithful companion ‘Billie’ a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and also cooking for family and friends.
